About LaVern Harvey
LaVern is an intuitive tarot and oracle reader who has been working with Spirit since first discovering the cards in 1992 in Oxfordshire, England. Entirely self-taught, her path into intuitive work unfolded organically through direct experience, prayer, trust, and a deep personal relationship with guidance rather than formal memorization or rigid systems.
Rooted in her Christian faith within the Church of England, LaVern chose early on to read intuitively—allowing meaning to arise through feeling, insight, and connection rather than predefined interpretations. Over time, her accuracy and clarity became undeniable, often surprising both herself and those around her, including experienced readers who recognized her gifts before she fully claimed them herself.
Throughout the years, LaVern has continued to deepen her understanding of intuition, boundaries, and spiritual discernment, gradually learning how to work with guidance in a way that feels grounded, respectful, and sustainable. While she has taken classes and studied with respected teachers, her work has always remained guided first by intuition and lived experience.
In 2015, LaVern began offering readings professionally through the metaphysical shop LightWeavers, where she was also called into teaching—helping others connect with their intuition, work with oracle and tarot cards, and develop their own relationship with guidance. What began as an intuitive process she assumed everyone shared became a teaching path, as others asked her to explain how she worked and how they could trust themselves in the same way.
LaVern’s passion lies in helping people believe in themselves, recognize their own gifts, and learn to trust their inner knowing. She teaches intuition as something natural, personal, and accessible—honoring that each person’s spiritual path unfolds differently and in its own time.
She welcomes the opportunity to read for and guide new people, offering a supportive, faith-honoring, and intuitive approach that encourages self-trust, discernment, and authenticity.
