Trauma-Informed Somatic Yoga with Madelyn Louipenn

 60-Minutes

This nurturing and restorative session offers a slow, mindful somatic yoga practice designed to support nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and a deeper sense of safety within the body.

Trauma-informed somatic yoga focuses on gentle, choice-based movement that encourages participants to listen inward and move in ways that feel supportive and empowering. Rather than pushing the body, this practice invites curiosity, softness, and presence — creating space for the body to reconnect with its natural rhythms.

Following the yoga practice, participants will be guided into a soothing sound healing journey. Vibrational frequencies from sound instruments help calm the mind, release stored tension, and deepen the body’s ability to rest and restore.

Together, somatic movement and sound healing create a powerful experience of grounding and integration, allowing the breath to deepen, the nervous system to settle, and the body to soften into a state of renewal.

No prior yoga experience is needed. All bodies, abilities, and levels of experience are welcome. Come exactly as you are.

About Madelyn Louipenn

Madelyn Louipenn’s work centers on the belief that our bodies hold profound wisdom and that healing begins when we learn to listen.

After more than a decade of living with chronic pain, anxiety, and burnout while working in the high-pressure world of technology startups, Madelyn found herself deeply disconnected from her own needs and well-being. Her personal journey toward healing led her to explore somatic practices, nervous system regulation, and embodiment work — approaches that ultimately helped her reconnect with herself and reclaim her sense of wholeness.

This transformative experience led Madelyn to leave her career in the tech industry and dedicate her life to guiding others on their own path of healing, self-discovery, and embodied living.

Her work supports individuals in moving beyond intellectual understanding and into direct connection with the body’s innate intelligence, creating space for deeper awareness, resilience, and authentic expression.
