Saturday Morning Yoga

Rhonda Roque

About This Session

Sometimes the simplest way back to ourselves begins with a single breath.

In Yoga and Sound Journey, longtime yoga practitioner and instructor Rhonda Roque invites participants into a grounding practice designed to reconnect the mind, body, and breath. The session begins with mantra and deep belly breathing, creating space to settle inward and become more present before moving into the physical practice.

Rhonda will then guide participants through gentle stretches to help loosen the muscles and prepare the body for movement. From there, guests will explore asanas, or yoga poses, and move through an accessible yoga sequence that encourages strength, awareness, and connection with the body’s natural wisdom.

Drawing from more than 20 years of personal practice and her experience with both Hatha and Kundalini yoga, Rhonda creates an environment that is welcoming, supportive, and focused on meeting participants where they are. Her teaching blends mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and energy awareness in ways that encourage each person to turn inward and discover what feels supportive for their own body.

This practice is not about achieving a perfect pose. It is an invitation to slow down, listen, breathe, and become more aware of the connection between movement, mindfulness, and inner balance.

Participants are encouraged to arrive exactly as they are and leave feeling more grounded, uplifted, and connected to themselves.
